Booking a cat sitter for your winter holidays

It’s only late October, but my bookings are already half full for nearly every day of the latter half of December. My clients know that I limit the number of bookings I will do in a day: this is in part for my work/life balance and also to ensure I am providing the best quality care I can to each cat I am entrusted with.

If want to book me or another sitter for your cat for December 15 through to the first week of January, it’s important to get your booking request in as soon as you know what your travel plans are. This is doubly important if your cat has special needs such as medication or requires two visits in a day.

If I am unavailable to care for your cat because I’m booked, I do know other cat sitters in the area whom I can recommend. It’s always worthwhile to check to see if I can look after your cat on some of the days. During some busy holidays, I’ve had clients who book me when I am available and then have a family member or friend stop in on the days I can’t.

My cat, Tom, likes looking out at the snow and trying to “catch” it.

So if you’d like me to come look after your fur babies while you’re away, don’t wait! The rest of my winter bookings are likely to be taken fast.
